BEZA Executive Chairman Paban chowdhury attended on Tuesday a tripartite arrangement-signing ceremony involving Aman Aconomic Zone, BEZA and Titas Gas at a city hotel as the chief guest, Chairman of Petrobangla Abul Mansur Md Faizullah, acting environment and secretary Istiaq Ahmed, acting power secretary Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, energy secretary Nazimuddin Chowdhury, Managing Director of Arisha Private Economic Zone Md. Aslamul Haque MP were present at the signing ceremony.

Arisha Private Economic Zone Received Pre-qualification License.

Economic Zone received Prequalification license today from Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA).

Although the economic zone is now being developed on 50.8 acres, it will be expanded to 200 acres gradually. On the prequalification license handover ceremony held at BEZA Office, Paban Chowdhury, executive chairman of BEZA, handed over the license to Aslamul Haque MP, managing director of Arisha Private Economic Zone.

Aslamul Haque MP, managing director of Arisha Private Economic Zone said “We may sign a $90 million investment deal with a UK-based firm by the end of this month. We are trying to attract the investment mostly from abroad, but the investment opportunity will remain open for domestic entrepreneurs too.”

In line with the license, the zone will now make an environmental impact assessment, a feasibility study and a Master plan by the next one year.

Maisha Group gets license for private economic zone

Arisha Economic Zone, a concern of Maisha Group, received a prequalification license today from Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority or Beza to set up an economic zone in Bosila in Dhaka.
